AEK kick off the Greek league season with a win

The new 2018/19 Greek league season kicked off on Saturday. AEK Athens were up against PAS Giannina, who finished last season in 9th place. Manager Marinos Uzunidis made 5 changes to the side that started against Vidi last week. However, they comfortably picked up the 3 points. The game was 37 minutes old when Ponce scored the first goal. He came on in the final minute of the CL 1st leg game with Vidi last Tuesday. Livaja also found the net to make it 2-0. Both goalscorers were substituted in the second half.
