The second weekend of the Hungarian league season produced many goals Vasas themselves lost their second game of the new campaign, when they lost 2-1 at home to newly promoted Pecs. All three goals came in the second half, with Nagy scoring the all important winner for the southern based side. Haladas slumped to a surprising home defeat over Honved. The all action game produced six goals with four going to the visitors. Striker Danilo helped himself to two first half penalties, with Haladas finding it hard to get back into the match. Lombard Papa carried on where they left off against Ujpest last weekend with a 2-0 home win over Siofok. A second half goal for Győri ETO gave them a single goal win over Budapest side Ujpest. It meant maximum points for the Győr club, while Ujpest have yet to pick up a point in the first two games. Videoton wrapped up a good weekend of football with a 4-0 home win over Paks. A Vasziljevics double helped Paulo Sousa's side to their first points of the season over last season's runners up.
