Bohdan Lednev continues his career at Vidi!

Under an agreement between the two clubs, Dinamo Kiev's Ukrainian attacking midfielder Bohdan Lednev will continue his career on loan with our club.

The 23-year-old, 173 cm tall player was born on the 7th April 1998 in Skvyra. He started playing football as a child for Dinamo Kyiv and then played for Atlet Kyiv and Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk youth teams. He was signed by Dinamo Kyiv in the summer of 2016 and made a fine international debut in his first season, scoring 6 goals and assisting a further 2 goals in 7 UEFA Youth League games.

In the 2017/2018 season, he played for Dinamo's second team and made his first team debut in the Ukrainian Cup, before being loaned to Ukrainian first division side Zorya Luhansk in the summer of 2018. In two years there, he played in 49 league matches, 8 Europa League qualifiers and 4 Ukrainian Cup matches, scoring 16 goals and 5 assists.

He returned to Dinamo Kyiv in the summer of 2020, where he won everything there is to win in Ukraine in the 2020/2021 season: the championship, the Ukrainian Cup and the Ukrainian Super Cup. His team qualified for the Champions League, where he made his debut in a group match against Barcelona. In the spring, Lednev continued in the Europa League, before returning to Europe's most prestigious competition in the autumn of 2021.

In the last one and a half years at Dinamo, he has played in 20 league matches, three Ukrainian Cup matches, one Ukrainian Super Cup final, five Champions League group matches and one qualifier, as well as one Europa League match, scoring two goals. He has made two appearances for his country's U19 and 16 for his U21 national team, scoring two goals for the latter. He was also part of the Ukraine squad for the 2021 European Championship.

Bohdan Lednev will arrive in Székesfehérvár on loan until the end of the year, after which our club will have an option to buy the midfielder's playing rights.
