Videoton played out the final match of 2013 at the Sostoi stadium on Sunday. The weather was kind considering the freezing conditions in the days leading up to the match. There was a healthy crowd of around 4,500 inside the stadium and a decent atmosphere leading up to kick off. Vidi were in a new kit for the match, together with a new sponsor, in the name of Nationwide blue tour.

The final match of 2013 kicked off with both sides looking to attack the other from the start. Kovacs showed good skills in the first minute, while visiting player Busai saw his shot go close. The green and whites then went ahead following a move, which ended with an Ionescu low cross from the right being converted from close range by Busai (0-1).

The reply was not long in coming. Vitor Gomes shot at goal on 23 minutes, and the arriving Nikolics disrupted the attention of keeper Jova, as the ball ended up in the back of the net (1-1). The second part of the first 45 minutes included a dangerous cross from Fradi's Ionescu, while Vidi's Nildo just failed to connect with a Stopira cross. Brachi also had a freekick, which went just inches wide of the target. The two sides went in at the break with the score at 1-1.

Vinicius headed at goal following a corner at the beginning of the second half. It required a save from Jova, which ended with the ball clipping the crossbar. Fradi were then pushed back, before ending up scoring two quick goals. Cukic released Bode, whose shot found the back of the net from 13 meters (1-2).

Hardly three minutes had passed and Ferencvaros extended their lead. Bode went down the left hand side, and his cross was met by Jenner to make double their lead. (1-3). Nikolics wasn't that far away from bringing Vidi back into the game on 69 minutes. The home side scored a consolation goal after 75 minutes. Vinicius was well positioned to hit home from Brachi's cross (2-3).

Videoton continued to go on the attack, having two big chances in the remaining period of the game. However, they could not find the equaliser. Zé Luis had the first chance with a shot, which was repeated by Oliveira, but the shot went wide of the target. Oliveira's cross was then flicked on by Vinicius, for the arriving Zé Luis to head just wide of the left post.

Fradi finally held out to win 3-2, which means that Vidi close 2013 in second place. The Szekesfehervar side will go into the spring season four points adrift of leaders Debrecen.
