Eighth placed ZTE FC visit the Sóstó on Sunday

So far this season we have played ZTE twice, drawing 3-3 at home and losing 3-1 away.

On Sunday at 16:00 we will face ZTE FC for the 93rd time in the top division. We have won 41 of the 92 matches played so far, with 26 draws and 25 ZTE victories. The goal difference is 154-107 in our favour, which means an average of almost three goals per game.

ZTE FC started the 2023/2024 season under head coach Gábor Boér, but last November, after the away defeat against MTK, a change of manager took place, with Gábor Márton, who had previously managed Vidi, replacing him on the bench. Under his guidance, the Zala side have a record of seven wins, three draws and five defeats. After 28 rounds, the blue and whites are in eighth place with 10 wins, five draws and 13 defeats.

In the last round, ZTE suffered a 3-2 defeat at home to FTC in a nail-biting match, with the defending champions leading 2-0, the home side managed to equalise, but the capital side scored the winning goal in the 98th minute to take the three points.

ZTE FC's top scorer is Antonio Mance with 15 goals.
