PRESS CONFERENCE

"Overall I am very happy with what we showed today"

Bartosz Grzelak and Dávid Horváth shared their thoughts on the match.

Bartosz Grzelak:

"We started the match very well, with energy and good speed. They got a red card quite quickly and that changed the dynamic of the game. It's often not easy to take advantage of a man advantage, when the opponent are packed in front of their goal and concentrates on defence, so I'm especially happy that we went into half-time with a 3-0 lead. In the second half, MTK changed their line-up and played with five defenders, which was harder to break down. After the break we could have created more chances, we could have been sharper in front of goal, but in the end Milán Pető scored his first goal in the NIB, we also had a penalty, so overall I am very happy with what we showed today. However, we know that the medals will be awarded after the last game, so we will continue to focus on the next match."

Horváth Dávid:

"The sending off came very early, which affected the game fundamentally. We had an incredibly difficult task at the home of such a good team. There was a lot of time left, 80 minutes, we tried several things to score. First we left four defenders at the back, but we couldn't control things, then we reverted to a three-man defensive system, but the home side were able to score from a very good long-range shot. We should have countered with ten men, but we were not good enough today. With the sending off we lost the confidence we had gained in previous games and played a subordinate role."
