We will close the season against sixth-placed DVTK on Saturday

If our team wins, we will certainly finish the 2023/2024 season in second or third place.

On Saturday at 17:45, sixth-placed DVTK visit the Sóstói Stadion for the last league match of the season. It will be the 79th first division match between the two clubs. Of the 78 meetings so far, 43 have been won, 10 draws and 25 have ended in Miskolc victories. The goal difference is 129-81 in our favour.

Last season, the Miskolc team won the NB II championship by a landslide and returned to the top. This season, the teams played two completely opposite matches. We won in Székesfehérvár and DVTK won 4-0 in Miskolc.

The DVTK management thanked head coach Sergey Kuznetsov for his work at the end of the winter preparations and the Miskolc team played their first three spring league games under the guidance of Miklós Simon. DVTK's new Serbian head coach Vladimir Radenkovic then made his debut against us in February this year, starting with a 4-0 win (our team played most of the game with ten men).

In the spring, DVTK have been completely unpredictable, losing 5-1 in Zalaegerszeg, then beating DVSC 5-3 at home a few weeks later, before suffering one of their biggest defeats of the season in Újpest, a 7-0 loss at Megyeri út. A week later, they confidently beat FTC 2-0 at home, having already secured their title weeks earlier and unbeaten so far this spring.

The most successful player for DVTK is Osaige Bright with eight goals.
