In the 3rd minute Schön outfoxed his defender on the left, and then passed the ball to Katona, who played it on to Csongvai, who shot at goal, the ball hpwever, failing to have any power and was no problem for Rácz. In the 10th minute, after a clearance, Karamoko raced towards the goal, Kádár was the last man and he cut him off resulting in a red card immediately being shown. The VAR reviewed the incident, but there was no question about the verdict; MTK Budapest were down to ten men.

The red and blues immediately took control, Christensen teasing Schön on the left in the 17th minute, whose cross was met by Rácz, who was just in front of goal, and the Norwegian midfielder spun a well-placed shot wide. In the 23rd minute, Vidi's pressure was rewarded with a goal: Schön's cross was reached Katona who made no mistake as his shot hit the back of the net (1-0).

Our momentum did not let up, first Bese's attempt was saved by Rácz, then in the 30th minute Karamoko's five-metre shot from a sharp angle was saved by the MTK goalkeeper. In the 32nd minute, after a quick combination and a short corner kicks, Christensen dribbled in from the corner of the box and his shot went past the helpless Rácz (2-0). In the 40th minute, the third goal came: the ball was well played, and finally Csongvai shot from 26 meters into the far bottom corner (3-0):

After a very eventful first half, MTK came back more organised. At the beginning of the second half there were fewer situations and shots on goal, but we confidently maintained our three-goal lead. In the 57th minute, Bognár's dangerous 19-metre shot was saved. In the 59th minute Serafimov was replaced by Simut. In the 70th minute, Christensen's dangerous corner was headed over the goal by Bese. In the 72nd minute the game picked up, and after a good run of play Christensen hit the target from five metres out, Rácz bravely tipping the shot wide. In the 74th minute, Bartosz Grzelak rested all three goal scorers and the trio of Christensen, Csongvai, Katona were replaced by Berki, Pető and Stefanelli.

The substitutes came into the game with great spirit, Pető burst forward, and then stuck a huge goal into the net from 23 meters (4-0). The young player's first goal in the NB I was a memorable one. In the 85th minute, after a handball and a long VAR review, our team was awarded a penalty. Karamoko stood behind the ball and his shot to the bottom right was saved by Rácz. In extra time, Stefanelli could have scored the fifth, but his 18-metre chip was saved by the goalkeeper of the capital team.

The result remained unchanged, with a good game and a confident victory we secured our place in Europe this summer.
