Nikola Serafimov signs a contract extension with our club

Nikola Serafimov, born on the 11th August 1999, came through the academy of Vardar Skopje, celebrated a championship title with the Skopje club, and then arrived in Fehérvár from ZTE FC in the summer of 2022. In his first season, he appeared in 11 NB I matches and two Europa League qualifiers for the red and blues, and this season he has been an almost ever present defensive force, starting 28 of our 31 league games, scoring in the autumn match against Kisvárda. He has also been a regular member of his country's national team, having appeared in 14 matches for the northern Macedonian side.

"I joined the club two years ago in the summer, my first season didn't go according to my plans, we were doing badly and I had to deal with two injuries. However, after the start of this season, things have changed in a very positive direction, which is reflected in our results. We have an excellent team and coaching staff, and we have achieved our successes as a team, fighting as a unit. We reached the 40-point target we set at the start of the season relatively quickly, and last week we secured a place in the summer European competetion, but our aim for the last two rounds is to finish on the podium and not to give up on second place. After that we can start setting new goals, but for now I am very happy that we have extended our contract and I will continue to fight for Vidi's success in the future" - Nikola Serafimov told our website after signing the extension.
