Videoton were missing Pal Lazar and Akos Elek, who left the training camp on Sunday to head for Dubai, where they have joined up with the Hungarian national squad, ahead of their friendly match on Wednesday. Zoltan Liptak has recovered from his illness, which struck him at the weekend, but there was no question of him featuring against 12th place Serbian clun FK Indija. Gyorgy Mezey was forced to make changes to his preferred line up for the fourth friendly game of the Spanish training camp.
The game was played on a pitch close to where Vidi are staying, and it was the red and blues who began the game well, playing quick tempo football, which resulted in Vidi taking the lead after 4 minutes, through a Nikolics goal. Gyorgy Mezey's side dominated the first 45 minutes, with chances coming one after the other. The Serbian side found it hard to keep up with Vidi, and Daniel Nagy took a kick to his ankle, but he was not the only one. Alves was well placed on 33 minutes to double the lead. A Nagy corner was flicked on by Vasko and Alves made no mistake from 2 meters out. Andre Alves thought he had made it 3-0 right on half time, but the referee flagged for offside. However, Mezey would have been pleased with Videoton's first half showing. The second half did not produce as many chances as the first had. FK Indija pulled a goal back after 75 minutes, from a free kick, which went past Tujvel in the Vidi goal. There were no further goals and it was Vidi that emerged 2-1 winners.
