Sunday's match kicks off at 16:30pm in what will be the 29th time that we host the Miskolc side in the first division. DVTK have so far managed to win 5 matches at the Sostoi stadium, with the last win coming in 1998.
Videoton met DVTK for the first time back on the 10th March 1968. A goal from Karsai gave the red and blues a 1-0 win in that match. Vidi have gone on to defeat Diosgyor 17 times since then in Szekesfehervar. There have also been a further 5 draws and only 5 losses at the Sostoi Stadium. The most recent success for the visitors came on the 7th November 1998, in a game that ended 2-3.
The Miskolc side have twice been beaten by five goals in Fehervar. Those came in 1981 and then in 2006. Vidi won six consecutive games against Sunday's opponents between 2004 and 2009. The two most recent league games have both ended level.
Sunday 28th September 2014 is the date that Vidi can further extend their unbeaten run against DVTK, in a match that kicks off at 16:30pm. It will also be one of the final big matches at the Sostoi stadium, before the stadium is redeveloped. It will be very worthwhile to buy tickets for the game beforehand. There were more than 4000 present for the recent league win over Ujpest. Good weather is expected this weekend.
Vidi have won 13 out of their first 13 matches this season, but DVTK have also started the new season in good form. They have lost just once against Cegled in the league cup. They remain unbeaten in the league. This east versus west fixture promises to be an exciting one.
There have been 85 goals scored against DVTK, with Laszlo Karsai scoring the most with a total of 9. Nemanja Nikolics from the present squad has 4 to his name, with Brachi, Vinicius, Kleinheisler and Kovacs all scoring one each.
