Videoton FC dropped two more points in the OTP league at Siofok on Wednesday evening. It was an evening of frustration and missed chances in the Balaton sunshine. Polonkai came back into the starting line up in midfield, while Liptak missed the game with a slight strain. Hector returned to left back with Horvath moving into central defence alongside Vasko. With Evandro unable to play due to his transfer taking place after the original match was postponed, on the opening day of the season, it meant that there was room for Walter to play down the left side.

Vasko cleared danger away in the 36th minute as Sowumni threatened to open the score. The referee blew for half time to bring to an end, a first period of chances with neither side gaining the upper hand. Vidi had not managed to win on the shores of lake Balaton in 14 years, which unfortunately will become 15! The second half kicked off with both sides going on the attack.  However, there were no real chances in the first 10 minutes of the second half. Nikolics and Vasziljevics came on for Walter and Mitrovics in an attacking move by manager Paulo Sousa. Brachi deflected Sowumni's shot away for a corner as Siofok enjoyed possession. The 68th minute saw Daniel Nagy cross from the right and Vasziljevics rose to head just over. The game continues to look as if it had 0-0 written all over it. The referee blew for full time and it was a case of two points dropped, as Vidi remain in midtable with 7 points from the first 5 matches. Pecs visit the Sostoi stadium on Saturday and will be looking to keep the much needed 3 points at home.
