Saturday's opponents will be the inconsistent Diosgyőr

Vidi return to OTP league action when DVTK are the visitors to the Sostoi stadium

Miskolc side Diosgyőr are the guests on Saturday in Fehervar. Tibor Sisa's side kicked off the season with a good 2-1 win over Ujpest at home. They then went down by a similar scoreline away to Honved, in their next game.  Newly promoted Egri FC were next up for Diosgyőr, who included former Vidi players Akos Elek and Andras Gosztonyi in their team. The three points remained in Miskolc, thanks to a good second half performance. An exciting goaless draw away at Haladas continued the good start to the season for the reds. They confirmed their top six place with a 2-1 home win over Balaton side Siofok. Despite falling behind in the first period, the second 45 minutes produced a much better performance and the three points were collected. However, they were brought back down to earth with a bang, after losing 3-0 at home to Győri ETO in their most recent league game.

They had a very busy summer, with not only a new manager arriving in the form of Tibor Sisa, but also several experienced players moving to Miskolc. A third Videoton player joined the already mentioned Elek and Gosztonyi, with Jeff Silva joining in a loan deal. A long period of 13 years without an international player was broken recently. Gabor Egressy was the last Hungarian international to play for DVTK, back in June 1999. Akos Elek's role in the 5-0 away win in Andorra broke that record. Vidi had a very good record against Sunday's visitors last season. Two league wins, coupled with a double victory in the league cup, all by the same 2-0 scoreline did the damage.
