The two managers shared their thoughts at the press conference after the game.
Marko Nikolic:
"I congratulate both teams. The visitors for the three points while our own team for the way they played. If we look at the chances created or the rhythm we dictated, then we did not deserve to lose. I do feel that experience decided today's game. Our opponents scored both goals out of nothing. They have quality players that take advantage of errors. We conceded very cheap goals but I can not say anything bad about my team despite this. I told them in the dressing room that we can prepare with our heads held high for the tasks ahead. We had many experienced players missing and I am thinking here of Juhasz, Huszti, Fiola, Vinicius and also Patkai. They are the spine of the team and I do not know what other side can cope with this. However, we did manage to cope and handle the events. Roland trained with us over the last three days and he really wanted to be out there on the pitch. However, a muscle strain meant that he signalled during the warm up that he could not play."
Sergei Rebrov:
"It has been a tough period for us with three games inside a week. The second half was very hard for us and we had very little energy remaining. We came away with a very important three points. I want to thank the supporters who backed the team throughout. Denes Dibusz played really well but I do not usually pick out players. It is important that when something does not work, there is always something that can compensate. We did not play well in attack against Ujpest but our defence did really well. Today we scored two goals but we did make mistakes at the back. The lads wanted it really and although the energy was running short, I am still delighted with the three points."
