A confident Haladas await Videoton on Saturday

Vidi will be looking to repeat their Hungarian cup success over Haladas on Saturday afternoon

Videoton have won 32 of the 64 matches played to date with Haladas. There have been 12 draws with a positive overall goal count of 108-76. Vidi first met Haladas back in 1968, when the red and blues lost 2-1 in Szombathely. Laszlo Karsai scored Vidi's goal that day, and he went on to find the back of the Haladas net ten times. Videoton have twice managed to beat Haladas by a six goal margin. The first of those came at the Sostoi stadium in 1977, with the most recent coming in 2004, when Daniel Tudor, Vidi's keeper, also finding himself on the goalscoring list that day. Tibor Wollek, Robert Jovan and Zoran Kuntics have all scored four goals against the green and whites in their playing careers.

Manager Tamas Artner took over in the winter, replacing Zoltan Aczel, and his Haladas side have proved hard to beat since. Their five games so far over the spring season has resulted in two wins and three draws, scoring nine goals while conceding five. Haladas went out in the group stages of the league cup, as they also made a poor start to the league campaign. Videoton also beat Haladas 1-0 on aggregate in the Hungarian cup, winning by a single goal at the Sostoi, before a goaless return leg at Szombathely.

Haladas will await Paulo Sousa's side with confidence, with good individual players such as Halmosi and Kenesei able to settle games on their own. Vidi currently have two loan players in Daniel Nagy and Goran Vujovics, although both will miss Saturday's game due to injuries.
