In the first four rounds Kisvárda played three times at home, starting the season with two wins and two draws.
On Sunday at 14:30 our team will play in Kisvárda in the 5th round of the OTP Bank Liga NB I. This will be the fourth home league match for our opponent, as Kisvárda played their first three matches at home. DVSC and Puskás Akadémia FC left with a point, while László Török's team beat Mezőkövesd 4-2 at home. Sunday's opponents won their first and only away game of the season 3-1 in Zalaegerszeg.
Kisvárda Master Good started the summer preparation with a new head coach, László Török, who previously managed Kecskemét in the top league, is in charge of the coaching side. As a footballer, László Török has played for Tiszakécske and Budapest Honvéd in the NB I, but he has been coaching for 20 years. In Kecskemét he held various positions, with a small interruption, for 12 years, while the last one and a half years he has been in Kisvárda as head coach of the U19 team.
Kisvárda, like us, played in the ECL in the summer, where they came through their Q2 tie with a double win against Kazakh Kajrat Almati. However, the Norwegian side Molde were a big step for them, losing 3-0 away, but winning 2-1 at home.
So far in the summer transfer window, six players have left Kisvárda and seven have arrived. Among the key players, Claudiu Bumba has just joined us, Lazar Cirkovic and Herdi Prenga have moved to Honvéd, Dávid Dombó is now goalkeeper of Vasas, and their replacements include Mario Ilievszki, Dominik Kovacic, Kristopher Vida and Ottó Hindrich.
