Vidi take on fifth in the table DVTK on Saturday

An important three points are on offer for Joan Carrillo and his side at the weekend. The match will be played behind closed doors due to the COVID 19 situation.

The final match of week 25 in the OTP league sees DVTK visit the MOL Arena Sosto. Our visitors are the in form side over the last four league games in the league. The Miskolc club have beaten Paks 2-0 at home, which was followed up by wins away at Honved (4-0) and at Ujpest (2-1). There was also a 2-2 draw with Kisvarda. That run of results has seen them push up to fifth in the league table and just two points behind fourth placed Puskas Academy FC. There are 13 points separating Vidi and DVTK going into this evening’s game.

The season so far has produced 11 wins, 3 draws and 10 defeats. Those include 34 goals scored and 32 conceded. Current top goalscorer is former Vidi forward Mirko Ivanovski. The Macedonian has scored 5 goals this season with Bence Iszlai closely behind him on 4 goals. The website values the red and white’s squad at 6,08 million euros, which is the eighth best in the NB I. Florent Hasani is the highest valued player with a price tag of 550,000€.

We have met Diosgyor twice this season. The first game at home back in August ended in a 5-1 win before we were again winners away in November with a 3-1 scoreline. DVTK were knocked out of the Hungarian Cup after suffering a 1-0 defeat to MTK in December.
