Joan Carrillo: We played for the win despite being a man down

The two managers gave their reaction following Saturday's 1-1 draw.

Joan Carrillo:

"I felt that we had more chances when we had eleven men on the pitch. Two-three of them were promising chances but our finishing was not precise. Our job was made harder following the sending off, but we played with good mentality and carried on playing in search of the win. DVTK focused more on defending and relying on the quick counter attack. We made a mistake in the final minute and our opponents managed to level. We need to look at the whole game rather than that minute."

The manager also spoke about the sending off of Funsho Bamgboye.

"I would not like to deal with the sending off. I have not looked back at the footage yet. If the referee felt that the second yellow card was justified, then I have no problem with this. It did make our job harder after that"

Tamás Feczkó (dvtk.eu):

"We did not prepare that we would end up having to defend the amount we did. Vidi pushed us back and they are the stronger side at the moment. The spring has been all about how many goals we score. We have scored the most goals up to now in the division. The team showed their other side today and we defended with discipline. We also kicked the ball off our own goal line. There were also good saves from Danilovic. We were a real team today. It is true that we did not have our supporters with us but we could feel those ten thousand behind us. We wanted to pick up points and we could have done that in the final 20 minutes. We just needed to use our heads better and take advantage of the extra man. We hesitated and did not have enough of the ball in the final third. Any side that can come away from the MOL Arena Sosto with a point will not be unhappy. Scoring at the end shows that we are fine mentally. We managed to go forward and level even after going one down after 88 minutes. I felt Branislav Danilovic was the man of the match. He produced several good saves."
