The two sides shared six goals in a 3-3 draw on Tuesday evening.
The fourth friendly match of the summer took place on Tuesday against Topolya SC. Manager Marko Nikolic fielded the following team: Kovács Dániel – Tamás Krisztián, Mocsi, Tamás Olivér, Hangya – Huszti, Berecz, Elek – Kovács István, Futács, Hodzic.
The match started well with a 12th minute shot from Berecz being saved by former Vidi keeper Filipovic, but a right sided cross from Istvan Kovacs was well met in the air by Futacs, whose powerful header nestled in the back of the net (1-0).
The visitors drew level on 28 minutes when a low cross from the left by Rovcanin was met at the far post by Siladji to make it 1-1. A Huszti free kick almost straight from the kick off was headed on by Berecz and into the path of Elek, who battled his way through the defence to score he second goal 2-1.
Once again Topolya went forward and found a quick reply through Siladji to make it 2-2. There were no changes at half time for the team from Fehervar, who were playing in the all white kit. Keeper Daniel Kovacs was called into action after 58 minutes to save after a cross in from the left, with Oliver Tamas seeing the ball deflect off him. A free kick from Istvan Kovacs after 66 minutes ended with Elek from a tight angle heading over the Topolya keeper to make it 3-2.
However, the lead did not last long with the visitors levelling for the third time on the night after 77 minutes. Lukic pounced to take the ball off keeper Kovacs and find the back of the empty net. Futacs could have won it with four minutes left when he turned and shot at goal, but the Serbian keeper produced a good save.
The final whistle blew and the result was 3-3. Vidi are again in action on Wednesday evening against DAC FC at the Pancho Arena.
