Vidi completed their summer pre-season in Austria with a 1-1 draw against Czech side Banik Ostrava.
Our team drew 1-1 with FC Banik Ostrava to bring the Austrian training camp to a close on Thursday. We spoke to Mate Patkai who scored the goal in the draw.
"I felt the team were a little unsure at the beginning. We gave the ball away several times and we were that fluent in bringing the ball out. We still controlled things in the first half despite that. We also scored a goal following a lovely pass from Kovacs. The general picture of the game changed in the second half. I would not say that we became tired, but it is true that we were not that precise. We could still have won the match as we had chances around their box, which could have brought us a goal. As we always want to win, whether that is a league game or in the cup or a friendly, we came off the pitch with a feeling of not being satisfied" - commented Mate Patkai after the final whistle.
