Match report: Friendly draw with Dinamo Bucharest

There were no goals in the second friendly on Friday in Spain.

Videoton played the second friendly match on Friday after losing 1-0 to Austrian side Admira Wacker in the midday game. Romanian side Dinamo Bucharest were the opponents in the second game, which kicked off at 16:00pm. Henning Berg fielded the following side: Kovácsik - Nego, Vinicius, Fiola, Stopira - Hadzic, Varga József, Pátkai, Suljic - Scsepovics, Lazovics.

Vidi started the match well in the sunny conditions of Marbella. With 3 minutes played, Suljic played the ball back to Stopira on the left. The defender sent in a cross, which was headed over the bar by Hadzic. Lazovics took a free kick on 16 minutes and his ball was met by the head of Varga, but keeper Branescu was not called upon. The first chance for the Romanian side arrived after 20 minutes. It ended with Kovacsik saving well from a Nemec shot. The following 15 minutes was dominated by play in the middle of the pitch with both sides trying to get the upper hand. There was further work for keeper Adam Kovacsik after 35 minutes. A long range Nistor strike was confidently collected by the Vidi keeper. The sides went in at the break with the score at 0-0.

Henning Berg did not make any changes to his side at half time. His counterpart Ioan Andone made two switches to his Dinamo team. Lazovics had the ball at his feet and aimed for the bottom left corner, with his effort going very close. Substitute keeper Cano saved a 79th minute chance from Vidi forward Scepovic with chances few and far between. Lazovic and Sejben then combined with the Serbian forward blasting over the bar. The final chance of the match came with a lovely cross from Nego finding Scepovic with a good chance. However, his header was comfortably saved by the the Dinamo keeper. The match ended in a goalless draw.
