Henning Berg: The team is in good form and we are looking forward to the evening match

The Videoton manager shared his thoughts on Saturday's important final game of the season.

“We need to continue the performances that we have been showing recently. I feel that we are in good form ahead of our game with Honved. We have played well and picked up wins in our last few games. We have the chance to win the league title in our final game of the season. We need to win for us to achieve this even if no other side has picked up as many points as we have or scored so many goals. Also we have conceded the least amount at the other end. Naturally our aim cannot be anything other than to win and win the title. Everyone is considering the match as a final, which is totally normal. The most important thing is that we focus on the work that we have carried out in training. The fate of the league title will be decided on the pitch. I have already said that we are in good form and we are really looking forward to the evening game. I do not know if Honved will play a different system to the one they did against us in the two matches we have played them. We know that they are capable of playing in more than one formation. We will see! We need to adapt to it if they change their formation. I am sure that our team is flexible enough to deal with it" - commented manager Henning Berg ahead of the final game of the league season.

It is not the first time that the Norwegian manager has experience excitement in the final game of a league season. He was a player at Blackburn Rovers when they won the league title on the final day of the season.

“I was a Blackburn player and had an exciting final match away at Liverpool. Manchester United played West Ham in their final game. These games are always special for those who take part. That was a totally different situation, as it was not the first and second team in the league facing each other. We were listening to the result of the other game on the radio, and we were delighted when we ended up winning the league title."
