We caught up with the Vidi manager for his thoughts on Sunday's game.
"Of course, we prepare for every meeting in the same way, we want to win. The weekday Europa League game took quite a bit out of the team physically, but we’ll be fine again by Sunday. Each match is different, each with its own uniqueness. We have also looked at Budafok, we are aware of what kind of game can lead to a result against them. They are an organised team, but based on the analyses, we know who the players are that will try to make things hard. Like any other team, Budafok have their own shortcomings, we will try to take advantage of them. We’re on track to improve our team both in attack and defence, but basically converting the chances we get is something we definitely need to improve on. I’m sure players will now play with more freedom, and resolving the situations in front of the goal more calmly. In the Europa League match, quite a few players were left out of the squad due to injury, they have been training again in recent days, I am confident that I can count on everyone on Sunday" - commented manager Gabor Marton.
