Contract extension for keeper Gergely Nagy

At the beginning of September 2024, 30-year-old Gergely Nagy, who was signed from the Greek first division, joined our club. The veteran keeper has so far played in five NB I league games and one MOL Hungarian Cup match for our team.

His most memorable match was the Zalaegerszeg league game, where we won 1-0 after Nagy saved a penalty in the injury time, but he also kept a clean sheet in the league match against Nyíregyháza (2-0) and the Gyirmot Cup match (2-0). Our club has extended Nagy's contract, and he will continue to be part of the red-blue squad in the 2025/2026 season.

"After my arrival I had to get into the rhythm and settle in very quickly. I said at the time that I was very happy to join Vidi and that it was an honour to play here, and I feel the same now. I am very happy about the contract extension and I will be happy if I can play as many games as possible in a Vidi shirt in the future " - said our goalkeeper after signing the extension.
