Bernard Casoni: "We still have a chance to go through"

The two manager's spoke to the media following the final whistle.

Bernard Casoni: I am disappointed because of the result, because we played well and deserved to win. We were good in the battles and also had a few chances to take the lead. We deserved more and our mentality was better than our opponents. We are heading in the right direction but we just need to rubber stamp this with a victory. It is unfortunate that Roland Juhasz was injured, while Kovacs picked up a slight injury. The supporters clapped the team off, which confirms that we played well. There was a foul in the build up to the own goal from Luijckx. However, this will not always be noticed in European matches. The goal that Mirko Ivanovski scored was onside. These are all moments that are unfortunately part of the game of football. We remained organized after BATE went ahead, which is a sign of development within the team. We still have a chance to go through, but we will need to score a goal in the away leg. We will work to make sure that happens.

Alekszandr Jermakovics: It was a battling game that we played in. I am very upset that we conceded a goal in the last minute, but football is like this. The home team did not surprise me with the way they played. We should have hit Vidi with better counter attacks. Videoton are a very good team and you could see today that the tie will be decided by who will be the better team.
