Ferenc Horvath: I would like to thank everyone for the attitude shown towards the end of the season

The two head coaches shared their thoughts on the final game of the league season.

Ferenc Horváth:
"I would rather talk in general about the whole season. I would like to really thank the players for their attitude shown at the end of the season. They confirmed that they are very good players. I would like to thank the coaching staff for their help. We worked really well together and they did a lot to make sure that the team ended up second. I would also like to thank the supporters who backed us throughout, and stood by us from the first minute to the last. Finally I would like to say thank you to director of football, Zoltan Kovacs, who really did a lot to help. I would like to add that it is not easy being a Hungarian manager. When I was appointed to this job, several Hungarian coaches told me that I was not suited to that post. I hope that they will read the newspapers tomorrow. I would like to wish the Hungarian national team manager every success for the upcoming European Championships. I am a firm believer that everybody should focus on their own team.

Nebojsa Vignjevics:
"I would like to congratulate Videoton for their second place. My colleague has put together a very good team. I would split today's game into two parts - before and after the sending off. We controlled the game when we had all our players on the pitch. Then the Fehervar side had more of the ball after the red card, which was understandable. We made more errors, which is why we did not win. I am sad that we ended the season as we did, although I hope that we can celebrate a cup final win in one week."
