On Sunday we play at the home of relegation threatened Kisvárda

Kisvárda has only a mathematical chance of avoiding relegation.

On Sunday at 15:15pm we will play away at the home of 11th placed Kisvárda. This will be the 18th match between the two teams in the NB I. Out of the 17 meetings so far, we have won 11 and drawn 3 while having lost 3. The goal difference is 37-17 in our favour. This will be our 9th league game with Kisvárda as the home side, we have won twice out of the 8 games played so far, with 3 draws and 3 defeats.

Kisvárda started the league under Milos Kruscic, and not badly either, winning 2-0 away at ZTE FC in round 1. However, Kruscic left soon after, and in round 7 Kisvárda were led by János Mátyus at the Groupama Arena. Mátyus didn't stay long on the Kisvárda bench either, he only managed seven times in the NB I championship for Kisvárda, replaced by Tamás Feczkó last November. Under his leadership, the team won five times, lost nine and drawn three times, leaving them with only a minimal mathematical chance of staying in the league.

The most successful player for Kisvárda is Jasmin Mesanovic with six goals.
