Vidi kick off the season with games against Ferencvaros and Ujpest

The venue is the Groupama Arena in Budapest on Wednesday evening. Vidi will be in Hungarian cup action in a first leg tie against Ferencvaros. FTC have so far beaten Nagyecsed (10-0), Csakvar (4-1 and 3-4). Vidi have knocked out Andrashida (2-0), and Haladas (1-0 and 1-1). The winners will progress to the final eight of the cup. The return leg will take place on the 2nd March in Felcsut.

A break of 2 months comes to an end when the league season continues next Saturday. Vidi travel to the capital to play Ujpest. The lilacs are currently in second place in the league table, with a point between the two teams. A win for VIdi would see them switch places and rise to second place. Vidi beat Ujpest 3-0 at the Sostoi in the autumn.
