Vidi head to Budapest at the weekend to face Vasas with three important points on offer.
Saturday's game will kick off at 17:00pm at the Ferenc Szusza stadium in Budapest. Vidi will face a Vasas side trying to avoid relegation in match 31 of the OTP league. There are just 3 games left to play and each point is important. Videoton are battling for the league title while the Angyalfold club need the points to remain in the division. They are currently just a point above 11th place DVTK, who occupy one of the drop positions.
Vasas went into their most recent league game in 11th place and a worse goal difference was the only reason they were behind DVTK in the table. The Miskolc side lost their game and Vasas fell behind to a 90th minute Blazic goal against Ferencvaros, but Egerszegi scored a late 94th minute injury time goal to earn a vital point.
Saturday's opponents have only won two of their games over the spring. That was in their game against Honved on the 10th March, which saw them win 2-1. Then they beat DVSC 3-2 on the 28th April. They have also drawn several matches against DVTK, Balmazujvaros, Mezokovesd and most recently away at FTC.
The game against the green and whites was the first time that Balint Gaal was in their starting line up in the spring. He has recovered from an injury and is the top goalscorer with 5 to his name together with Remili Mohamed. Egerszegi and Burmeister follow on 4 goals each. The player with the most appearances are Remili and Mate Vida with 27 games. Benes Vit, Tamas Egerszegi, Jevgenij Pavlov have all played in each game over the spring. Keeper Gergely Nagy has featured from match 22 of the season.
Transfermarkt.de values their squad at 6.78 million €, which is the fifth highest in the NB I. Macedonian Kire Risztevszki is valued at 700,000€ while Hungarian international defender Szilvester Hangya is on 600k€. Zsombor Berecz is another Hungarian international with a similar valuation.
Missing for sure on Saturday will be Mate Vida, who picked up his 5th booking in the 93rd minute of their game at FTC. Remili Mohamed missed their most recent game as did Donat Szivacski. Mark Kleisz has not played in a game during the spring. Norbert Csiki has not played since the 17th March while Zsombor Berecz has been missing since 21st April.
There are two former Vidi players in the current Vasas squad: Tamas Vasko helped Vidi to their first title win and David Barczi is another that was formerly with the Fehervar club.
