Three goal defeat in first friendly of Friday

The final full day of the Spanish training camp included two friendly games: The first of which was against the Chinese U25 international side. Manager Marko Nikolic chose the following eleven for the match: Tujvel – Hangya, Vinícius, Tóth Bence, Tamás Krisztián – Bolla, Anel Hadzic, Berecz, Kovács István – Elvir Hadzic, Szabó Bálint.

Vidi were in their familiar blue and red shirts while the Chinese team were in an all yellow kit. The first chance came on 16 minutes. A cross from the right ended at Shuang, whose powerful shot went over the bar. A left footed shot by Krisztian Tamas after 21 minutes zipped past the right post, having deflected off a Chinese defender. The action continued with a Tamas cross 5 minutes later, which was volley over by Kovacs. Bolla set up Anel Hadzic after 31 minutes, but the Bosnian midfielder's effort was blocked by a defender. Hangya dribbled inwards four minutes later, before shooting from 15 meters, but keeper Jing Qi got down to palm the ball away for a corner. 

Marko Nikolic did not make any changes to his side but the opponents did. Only their keeper remained on the pitch as the second half kicked off. The half was four minutes old when a ball to the left did not reach Kovacs, but Anel Hadzic found himself with a chance. However, the Chinese keeper was uncertain and did not come out to narrow the angle, with Hadzic trying to place the ball beside him, but Jing Qi managed to save. It was the Chinese side that went ahead after 59 minutes following good individual play. Fei Ya showed his pace inside the Vidi half, before aiming for the top corner with a curling shot that went in (0-1). Two minutes later and Ba Dun doubled the lead for the U25 team. The Beijing Sinobo Guoan forward blasted a shot that went in off the bar (0-2). A 68th minute Kovacs kirner was headed at goal by Bence Toth, but the keeper was well positioned to deal with it. 

A cross from the left on 76 minutes by Zi Ming was collected by Tujvel ahead of Jun Sheng. Istvan Kovacs shot from 17 meters 6 minutes later that went wide of the right post. The Chinese rounded off the win with 5 minutes remaining when Ba Dun hit a ball towards Wang Zi, who made no mistake from close range (0-3).
