The points are shared in an exciting match in Miskolc

     Early lead for Vidi on a difficult pitch

Videoton visited the home of a DVTK side, which had set an autumn record of 7 consecutive wins. A big crowd turned out to watch two sides that had begun the match in the top three. Heavy rain had fallen over Miskolc for much of the day before settling down just before kick off. The result meant a heavy and difficult pitch for the players to play on. Vidi played in their blue and white away kit, lining up with a strong side, which included Juhasz at the back and Zé Luis in attack. The supporters did not have long to wait as Vidi went ahead with a very early 37 second goal, courtesy of Laszlo Kleinheisler, who raced on to a through ball from Kovacs to bend his shot in to the back of the net.

The home side did not have to wait long to level. Nikhazi's close range shot was parried by Calatayud, with the rebound falling kindly to Bacsa, who scored to make it 1-1. The two early goals were then followed by a period that did not have any real chances in front of either goal, but there could be no complaints regarding the tempo of the game. A moment of magic then saw Vidi restore their lead, thanks to some great individual play from Istvan Kovacs.

He collected the ball before going on a run and cutting in to unleash a low shot, which found the back of the net. The visitors could have extended their lead five minutes later, when Stopira's nice cross from the left was headed down by Zé Luis, only to produce an excellent low save from keeper Rajic. That save kept DVTK in the match with the home keeper showing further good saves to deny Kleinheisler's free kick, which was tipped over the bar.

The picture of the match did not change after the half time break, with the supporters witnessing an exciting game. Futacs had a close range header on 68 minutes, which went over the bar. Zé Luis then saw his great header after 71 minutes stopped on the goal line, before the ball ended up going wide of the post from the forward's effort.

A Diosgyőr free kick from wide found its way into the net to level the game at 2-2. Goher's low inswinging kick evaded all the players on its way into the goal. Both sides continued to play for the win and there were chances at both ends. However, the match ended up as a 2-2 draw with both sides having to settle for a point.

Vidi close the autumn season in second place behind Debrecen, who lead by a single point. The first game of the spring season will be played next weekend at the home of Haladas, although there is an important Hungarian cup home leg to play on Wednesday against Diosgyőr once again.
