Serafimov's goal gives Northern Macedonia victory in the Nations League

On Thursday evening, Northern Macedonia hosted Latvia in Skopje in the 5th round of the Nations League Division C.

Nikola Serafimov was given a start in the clash and played a starring role in the 1-0 home win. After a goalless draw in the first half, he picked up a yellow card in the second half and scored the first and only goal of the match in the 57th minute.

With another success, the North Macedonians have now secured their group with 4 wins and 1 draw after 5 rounds and 13 points, which will see them qualify for Division B of the Nations League.

Serafimov's side will close the series with a home game against the Faroe Islands in the final round on Sunday 17 November.
