The experienced international defender will remain with Videoton until June 2013
Roland Juhász was born on the 1st July 1983 in Tapioszentmarton. He began his professional career at MTK, making it through their famous Karoly Sandor football academy. He went on to make more than 100 senior appearances for the Budapest side, scoring an impressive 12 goals in the process. He was originally as forward before being converted to his now central defensive position. Juhasz collected his first international cap for Hungary, in a friendly match with Japan, on the 25th April 2004. Another interesting factor from that match was that present day Videoton players, Balazs Toth and Sandor Torghelle also played in that game.
The tall defender moved in the summer of 2005 to Belgium giants Anderlecht. He has gone on to play in more than 300 games for them over a seven year period. Juhasz scored 29 times for the Belgium side, while also going on to play in Champions league and Europa league matches for Anderlecht. He has also become a stable member of the Hungarian national team making 76 international appearances for his country.
Roland Juhasz has joined on a loan deal until the end of the current season.
