Experienced Vad will referee Sunday's match

Videoton FC are away in the OTP league on Sunday, with a tough match awaiting them at Debrecen. The game will go a long way in determining the outcome at the top of the league table. Experienced match official Istvan Vad began playing football in his youth at Rakosmenti TK, moving on to Ferencvaros and then BVSC. He took his refereeing badge in 1995, and took control of youth games due to his young age. Vad made his first division debut in a match involving Sopron and Videoton in 2004. He has been a member of the FIFA group of officials since 2007, and took charge of his first international game at the age of 27. He also ended up refereeing in the Champions league in October 2010, along with Viktor Kassai, after just three and a half years as a FIFA referee.
