We beat Kecskemét with a late goal!

We led with a great goal by Loic Nego, but the visitors equalized, Stopira's goal at the end of the game was worth three points!

In the 6th round of the OTP Bank League our team played against the league newcomer Kecskemét TE at the MOL Arena Sósto. Michael Boris went for Emil Rockov in goal this time, while Larsen, Fiola, Pokorny, Nego, Kodro, Rúben Pinto, Stopira, Hangya, Funsho and Bumba all lining up against the purple and white team, where two loan players of Vidi, Levente Szabó and Márió Zeke, were also in the starting line-up.

The game started with a Bumba shot, which was saved by Ádám Varga. In the 11th minute, Levente Szabó's shot was saved by Rockov in the home goal, and two minutes later Funsho struck the post. In the 29th minute, Bumba's free-kick was saved in the air by Varga, but two minutes later the Kecskemét goalkeeper was helpless when Kodro's cross was volleyed in by Nego from seven metres out (1-0). It really was a fine goal for those inside the stadium to enjoy.

In the 40th minute Bálint Katona equalized (1-1), and in the 42nd minute Nego's pass was headed over the goal by Kodro. We mobilized a lot of energy for the second goal in the first half's injury time, but the visiting defenders sacrificed themselves to save every attempt and the first half ended in a draw.

István Szabó and Michael Boris did not make any substitutions at the break, and in the 55th minute Rúben Pinto's shot was wide of the target. A minute later, Funsho calmly shot the ball between Varga's legs after a quick move, but after a lengthy video review, the goal was disallowed for being offside. In the 67th minute, two of our players made their debuts in Vidi shirts: Schön and Kastrati came on for Bumba and Funsho.

In the 72nd minute, the supporters saw another substitution: Kodro and Pokorny came off the pitch, Dárdai and Zivzivadze came on in place of them. Fiola's sharp, low shot crashed wide of the Kecskemét goal. In the 77th minute, Dárdai headed from the five-yard line, but missed the target. With six minutes left in normal time, Dárdai's cross was headed over by Fiola.

In the next minutes we put the newcomers under pressure and in the 90th minute we scored the winning goal - Dárdai's corner was well taken by Stopira who timed his run to head past, Varga (2-1). Kecskemet put up a great fight, but in the end we held on to the three points at the Sósto.
