The Kecskemét head coach is confident that his team can make the most of Wednesday night's match.
"The two clubs had very different goals before the season and they still have them now. I don't think it needs to be said that Fehérvár sign almost ready-made players, or very talented youngsters who are then loaned out. A good example of the latter are Márió Zeke and Levente Szabó, who are the strengths of our team. In the last week, they have signed Szabolcs Schön and Lirim Kastrati, both national team players, which says a lot about how much they can be reinforcements. We saw what a wonderful victory they had in Cologne. So far in the league, they have not done as well as they would have liked, which I think was due to the heavy workload. But now they will put all their energy into beating us. Their aims and opportunities are different, of course, but that is just part of football. We have to make the most of this game, which means I would be happy with a point. Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday rhythm in NB II was very good last year, but NB I is a different kettle of fish. I'm also curious to see how much the game against ZTE took out of us, which was a very hard fought game, we had to work hard to come from behind to win. We have to take the measurements into account, and we can put the players who are physically and mentally ready for this match into the team accordingly" - said Kecskemét head coach István Szabó ahead of the match which starts on Wednesday at 19:30.
