Three important points are up for grabs as Vidi travel east to face Kisvarda.
Vidi are in action at 17:45 on Wednesday at the home of Kisvarda. The game was originally due to be played in match 5 of the season but it was postponed.
Our opponents did not start the new season well as they lost 2-1 at the home of NB I newcomers Budafok. They then suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Puskas Academy in the next game. However, a change of fortune followed as they won their next three away league games at Honved 2-1, Ujpest 4-2 and Mezokovesd 2-1.
They did lose two games towards the end of last year as FTC won 2-0 at Kisvarda and the final game of 2020 saw them go down 3-0 to Vidi at the MOL Arena Sosto. Jaroslav Navratil and Fernando Viana have both scored 3 goals each this season.
The 16 league games have produced 6 wins, 6 draws and 4 defeats and they currently sit in sixth place having scored 17 and conceded 18 goals.
There was a bit of movement during the winter break for the eastern based club. Adm Baranyai, Sztavrosz Cukalasz, Tonci Kukoc, Roman Karaszjuk and Csaba Lakatos all left the club. Lazar Csirkovics, Janisz Karabeljov, Leoni Matheus and Bence Otvos all arrived.
Attila Supka's side drew their first game of this year 0-0 against Mezokovesd.
