The thoughts of the two managers following Wednesday's league game.
Gabor Marton:
"We didn’t play well, there was little movement, the game was slow and we practically barely worked out a chance, so you can’t win a match. It ended 2-1, unfortunately not to us, Kisvarda deserves congratulations. We played with four at the back in this match, we thought it would be appropriate, but we didn’t necessarily have to look for a bug or a solution in these systems. If the players can perform well in a system and the match is going well, we are able to win with any lineup. If we don’t play well and don’t attack enough, it doesn’t matter at all what lineup we play. We knew it was going to be a tough match today, we didn’t defend well, we didn’t attack effectively enough, that’s just the end of it."
Attila Supka:
"We are beyond a series of games that we did not win. So far we have defended massively in every match, we were able to solve our task in part, we scored few goals, this was the case in today's match as well. Apart from the one goal that we conceded, MOL Fehervar had only one or two chances to score. Today we did everything we could to keep the three points at home, the players did everything we asked them to do in advance. Everyone played very enthusiastically, I think we outperformed our opponent in the game as well. In the second half, we had more of the ball, after the 2-1 lead we had some more chances from which goals could have been scored in a more accurate game. The season is long, we still want to collect points, our goal is to get as far away from the relegation zone as possible, and this can only be achieved with a calm game. I'm glad we managed to win today's match. "
