MOL Vidi travel east to Miskolc on Saturday in search of three league points.
Vidi are certain of a second place finish in the OTP League as they travel to DVTK on Saturday. The game on the 4th May will kick off at 17:00pm in Miskolc.
The Diosgyor side are again battling to avoid relegation. They sit in 11th place, which is one of the relegation positions and are a point behind Kisvarda who are a place above. DVTK have never been higher than 9th in the league table this season. They have occupied 10-11th place ever since the 15th September. Their squad is valued by transfermarkt.de at 5,15 million €, which is the lowest of all NB I sides. David Markvart is rated at 450,000€ with Ukrainian Shestakov, Kosovon Hasani and former Barcelona youth player Matyas Tajti all behind on 400,000€.
Current top goalscorer is Hasani who has found the back of the opponents net 5 times. He is followed by Vernes and Tajti with 4 goals each. The Canadian table sees Vernes leading with 4+4 and Hasani is just behind him with 5+2. Dusan Brkovic has played 2475 minutes with Shestakov on 2369. They are followed by Mark Tamas on 2132.
There are three players with Vidi connections in the current DVTK squad. Gabor Makrai spent part of his youth at Vidi while Mark Tamas and Bence Szabo not only played for the Vidi youth teams but were also born in Szekesfehervar.
Manager Fernando had several players missing in his last match: out injured were Bence Bardos, Tomislav Mazalovic, David Forgacs, Ismaila Ousman and Gabor Makrai. Matyas Tajti returned in the most recent game but Diosgyor do not have any suspensions.
It is interesting that several youngsters have been given the chance during 2018-19 for DVTK. They include Borisz Toth and Donat Orosz who have both played a match in the NB I at the age of 16. Kristof Korbely is 19 and has played in the last two games.
