MOL Vidi FC win the Hungarian Cup

Vidi beat Honved 2-1 in the Cup Final, which was held at the Groupama Arena in Budapest on Saturday. 

Goals from  Scepovic and Hadzic secured victory on Saturday evening as Vidi won the Hungarian Cup for the second time in the clubs history. The first was back in 2006 with Marko Nikolic' side completing a very successful season, which has seen Europa League Group Stage and a second place finish on top of the Hungarian Cup. 

The journey to the final began against Cigand with a 2-0 win. Budafok away was next and a 2-1 victory. A two legged win over Taksony 1-0 and 3-0 put Vidi in the last eight and a two legged tie with Ferencvaors. MOL Vidi won 2-1 in Budapest at the Groupama Arena and that was backed up with a 2-0 home win at the MOL Arena Sosto. A 4-0 aggregate win over Debrecen earned Vidi a place in the cup final against Honved.
