Another important 3 points are up for grabs as Vidi head east on Wednesday evening.
The season will have a rare midweek league game as we make the journey to Mezokovesd in the NB I. Attila Pinter's side are 8th in the table while we go into the match sitting in third place.
Mezokovesd went on an impressive run of 13 unbeaten games, stretching over almost four months. That run came to an end in the beginning of April and they have since lost 3 on the bounce. Those came away at Puskas Academy (0-2), at home to Kisvarda (0-1) and away at Ujpest (0-3) most recently. Their record this season is 10 wins, 8 draws and 11 defeats with 31 goals scored and 38 conceded. Top goalscorers with 5 each are Dino Besirovic and Tamas Cseri.
We beat Mezokovesd 2-1 in the autumn and drew 0-0 with them in February at the MOL Arena Sosto. We will be facing them away for the 8th time in the NB I and those eight games have brought 2 wins, 3 draws and 3 defeats in total. Mezokovesd were beaten over a penalty shootout against Ujpest.
