Vidi come from behind to win 4-1 at the home of Puskas Academy

Vidi won the derby game with a good performance on Saturday evening.

Match 24 of the OTP league season saw a visit to the Pancho Arena in Felcsut. The opponents were Puskas Academy, who went into the game in fourth place. Vidi were two places above them in second position with 8 points separating the two sides.

Manager Joan Carrilo chose the following starting eleven: Kovácsik - Fiola, Juhász, Musliu, Stopira - Houri, Pátkai - Funsho, Kovács, Petryak - Nikolics.

The first corner of the match was taken by PAFC after 6 minutes. Kovacsik comfortably punched the ball away but it fell to Gyurcso, who from 20 meters sent a shot over the bar. Funsho then played Kovacs in 3 minutes later, who took the ball towards goal, but he chose to centre the ball to Nikolic instead of shoot. The cross was too heavy for the forward to connect to and it went out for a throw. Houri's corner on 13 minutes was met at the far post by Stopira, who did well to head the ball just inches over the bar. The home side went ahead after 24 minutes: Gyurcso brought Zsolt Nagy into play on the left, whose precise cross into the middle was volleyed home from 10 meters by Slagveer (1-0).

Kovacsik produced a good save following a flick on after 29 minutes. There was still time for a low shot from Gyurcso close to half time, while Slagveer sent another shot just wide of the target. The sides went in at the break with PAFC leading 1-0.

The second half began with a shot from Yoell Van Nieff. His effort from 20 meters went over the bar. Vidi scored the first of their four second half goals six minutes later: Kovacs released Petryak down the right, with the Ukrainian winger's cross rebounding off a defender and into the path of Funsho, whose fine finish ended up in the back of the net. The young forward making no mistake from 7 meters out (1-1).

Stopira sent an acrobatic overhead kick on goal as the pressure continued from the visiting side. That pressure paid off as Vidi turned the game around to take the lead after 59 minutes. A quickly taken free kick saw Kovacs pass towards Petryak, but Slagveer tried to shield the ball from him, before Petryak stepped in to curl the ball home from 6 meters (1-2).

Gyurcso took a free kick from a dangerous position after 73 minutes. The ball bounced in front of Kovacsik, but the keeper did well to save. Vidi increased their lead after 81 minutes: Houri playing in Petryak, who from a tight angle shot at goal. Hegedus pulled off a smart save it, but the rebound was pounced on by Nikolic who sent the ball into the back of the net to make it 1-3

Puskas keeper Hegedus saw yellow after 88 minutes after he raced out of goal and collided with Nego. Houri sent the free kick into the middle and substitute Szabo rose high to head against the bar. The rebound fell kindly to Stopira who was well placed to score (1-4).

Vidi scored four second half goals to come away from the Pancho Arena with all three points and a 4-1 win.
