The title holders visit the Pancho Arena on Saturday evening

Videoton entertain Honved at Felcsut on Saturday evening at 20:30pm.

The latest big game takes place on the 23rd September at the Pancho Arena. Budapest Honved FC are the visitors for the match that will kick off at 20:30pm. Vidi will go into the game knowing that they will still head the league table whatever the result will be. The red and blues currently have a 4 points lead over second placed Ferencvaros.

It is the first time that the two sides will meet following the final game of last season. The Kispest side sit in third place after nine games. They are five points behind top of the table Videoton. The red and blacks, similarly to Videoton, lost their unbeaten league run after several games. They had remained undefeated for 6 games: Those included draws against Balmazujvaros and DVTK and wins against Haladas, PAFC, Ujpest and Mezokovesd. The first loss came against Debrecen on the 26th August. They have not been able to win since then drawing against Paks and losing to Ferencvaros. Honved have been specialists at scoring late goals this season. They have scored goals in the 82, 89, 92 and 94th minute of games. That helped to win two games and draw the other.

Top goalscorer is Davide Lanzafame with 7 goals to sit in 2nd place in the scoring chart. 2016-17 top goal scorer Marton Eppel has 4 to his name while Kadima has found the back of the net twice. The title winners saw several players leave over the summer. Former Vidi players Donat Zsoter and Dusan Vasziljevics departed together with Zsolt Balazs, Mark Koszta and captain Patrik Hidi. They were replaced by former top goalscorer Danilo and youth prospects Herjeczki and Szano Bano. Latifu Akeem, Istvan Deak and Zsolt Poloskei also came in with the latter arriving from Vidi.
