The midfielder shared his thoughts on Saturday's 1-1 home draw with Honved.
Videoton drew 1-1 with third in the table Honved on Saturday evening at the Pancho Arena. We spoke to Jozsef Varga, who came on in the 64th minute to replace Istvan Kovacs.
"The manager asked me before going on to keep my position in the middle and try to get hold of the ball. We started the game well again and then went on to create several chances. However, we could not score more goals. Sadly Honved then levelled, which then lifted them mentally. It was a real battling match with plenty of long and high balls. The game could have been settled at either end of the pitch. We would have deserved to have won the game if we could have taken advantage of those chances at the beginning and led by two or three goals. This did not happen and the Kispest side then came back into the game and ended up picking up a point. The game was similar to the one last week against Vasas although we came out of this one with a point. I am not satisfied overall as we went out onto the pitch to win, which could be seen in the first half. We dominated and pushed Honved back but could not convert the chances" - commented Varga.
