The thoughts of the two head coaches

Bartosz Grzelak and György Bognár faced the media after the match.

Bartosz Grzelak:

"We knew that we were in for a tough game, Paks are a very tough opponent. Before the game we talked about how we could win a lot and our opponent could lose a lot in this game. We knew that Paks would play direct football and try to get as many balls into the box as possible. Our counter play was effective and our defence remained solid even after the sending off. I'm proud of the team, we managed to win at the home against a strong opponent and we needed our best form to do it. It was great to celebrate with the fans at the end. After the game, I told the boys in the dressing room that they fought like they were in a final. I'm happy and proud because of that, it's a match I will always remember."

Bognár György:

"Fehérvár deserved to win, congratulations to them. They defended well and counter-attacked well, our play was below expectations especially in the first half. At the break we tried to make a change, we had a man advantage after the sending off, which we could have turned into our advantage, but a mistake saw the visitors two goals up. Our play today was not enough to turn the game around. Once again, I say that the victory was well deserved."
