"We want to win on Thursday night"

"I see this game as a good test for us, we want to win on Thursday night. I'm confident that we can show a solid game. I would like us to be able to add creativity to our stability - that's our plan for the season ahead, of course we need to work on that in the future, but I'm very positive about the work we've done in the last few weeks. It wasn't easy to scout Sumqayit, as most of their players were replaced in the summer. We watched several of their training matches and saw that they have an organised squad and their new players are quality. The home pitch is in their favour, and we arrived in Azerbaijan at the end of a very long journey, but I hope that our players will be able to rest and be fit enough to play. We'll have a training session in the morning of the match day and in the evening we'll try to get the best possible result, I'm very confident of our victory," said head coach Tamás Pető ahead of the UEFA Conference League qualifier against Sumqayit.
