Our team visited Monor SE in the 3rd round of the MOL Hungarian Cup. Head coach Tamás Pető sent the eleven of Dala - Simut, Larsen, Spandler, Milicevic - Kovács M., Pető, Bedi, Stefanelli - Kovács P., Katona onto the pitch against the NB III team.

Monor started the cup game with a disciplined defence and great energy. In the 9th minute Katona's corner was punched back into the box by Bozsó, and Patrik Kovács' header was saved by the home goalkeeper. In the 15th minute, Bence Szabó powered over Dala's goal from 23 metres out. The blue and whites continued to fight hard for every ball and became more and more courageous in attack.
In the 28th minute, Mátyás Kovács received a good ball and broke inside the box, but at the moment of the shot Agócs cleared for a corner. Katona's 28-metre free-kick followed and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute Stefanelli played in Katona, who was brought down outside the box. Pető curled this free-kick at goal, Bozsó dealt with the danger. At the break Tamás Pető made a change; Filip Holender came on for Mátyás Kovács. We kept the lead confidently, the Monor team did not pose a threat to Dala's goal. In the 61st minute, Gradisar and Bálint Szabó, who returned to Fehérvár, replaced Patrik Kovács and Katona. The match was livened up: after a nice trick Kapronczai moved in on the left, his cross was intercepted by Spandler, and at the other end, Gradisar's shot was saved by Bozsó. In the 72nd minute, we could have wrapped up the game: a ball back from Pető's corner was headed in by Szabó and Gradisar shot just over - a nice attack. In the 82nd minute, Simut provided Pető, who shot at goal but the referee awarded a booking. Gradisar fought for the ball, released Benze Kovács and finally Szabó saw his shot blocked and cleared for a corner.
The closing minutes of the first half was ours: first Katona, who was playing with great spirit, was given the initiative and his ball into the middle was met by Mátyás Kovács shot shot at Bozsó. The next Vidi attack brought a goal: after quick passes, Milicevic's left-wing cross was played in by Simut, and Patrik Kovács powered into the net from the half-turn (0-1).
We were not without a Vidi goal in this half either, at the end Bence Kovács stepped out in a set-piece and made no mistake (0-2). The final chance fell to Holender, who shot over in a great position. The result did not change, we progressed into the next round of the MOL Hungarian Cup with a 2-0 win.
