The club's Honorary President previews Friday's match with MTK

- We have a very difficult game ahead of us on Friday at MTK, as we will be playing at the home of a side, which is unique in Hungarian football, for preserving their own style of football for many years now. They played the same short passing football during my time there, and MTK always played attractive football, just as they do today. MTK are also recognised for bravely using their talented youth players, which is an example to follow. This is why I am also pleased that Videoton's own young players were given the chance to show what they could do in the league cup games. The football that we played at Zalaegerszeg was enjoyable, and played at a good tempo, which resulted in a 2-0 win for us. It was a game in which the young players played good attacking football. I feel that we are similar to MTK from this point of view, as we also have a very good youth set up now. Our second division side is full of young talented players. Looking forward to Friday's match, we will be up against a young and energetic MTK team, which likes to play football at a good pace. Naturally I am expecting us to win, but we will really have to fight out there on the pitch" - explained Videoton's Honorary President, Ferenc Kovacs.
