Videoton travel to Budapest on Friday to take on MTK in the OTP League
MTK began the current season in excellent form, and were top of the league after six matches. They have managed to pick up just one point in the last three games, resulting in them slipping back to third place. They are three points ahead of Vidi , so an away win could see the red and blues draw level with them. The Budapest side scored 15 goals in their first 10 games, with the biggest win coming in their 3-0 win over Eger. Jozsef Kanta and Patrik Tischler have both found the back of the net four times this season. This duo are unfortunately well known to the Vidi fans, following last season's Hungarian cup matches. Videoton won 3-2 in Budapest in the first leg of the semi-final tie. However, MTK went on to beat Vidi 2-0 at the Sostoi to progress in to the final. It is interesting to note that second division Vac knocked MTK out of this season's Hungarian cup in the first round!
