Taking a closer look at the record with Siofok

The two sides will meet for the 34th time on Saturday

The first league game:

The two first met in the sixth game of the 1985/1986 season, when the pair shared a 1-1 draw in Siofok, on the 4th September 1985. Vidi's goal that day came from Zoltan Csucsánszky.

The first Videoton win:

That also came in the 1985/86 season, when Vidi met the Balaton club in the 21st game of that season. Goals from Csongradi and Simon gave Videoton a 2-1 home win at the Sostoi stadium, on the 5th March 1986.

The highest victory:

That was a 3-0 home win in the 1989/90 season. Vidi's goals that day came from Gabor Halmai, Laszlo Emmer and Vancea Viorel.

The biggest defeat:

Videoton suffered a 4-1 beating in the 15th weekend of the 1988/1989 season. A cold December day in Fehervar saw Csucsánszky score the only goal for the home side that day.

The highest scoring match:

That came in the 1987/1988 season in a game played at the Sostoi stadium. That match on the 9th June 1988, produced seven goals as Vidi won 4-3 with goals from Toth, Kanyok, Petres and Csucsánszky.

Top goalscorer against Siofok:

Zoltan Csucsánszky has found the back of the Siofok net the most times over the years. His four goals is one better than the three that Ferenc Horvath has managed to score. Daniel Nagy, Attila Polonkai, Andre Alves and Goran Vujovics have all scored once against the yellow and blues.

The last home win:

The two clubs last met at the Sostoi stadium after the 16th game of the 2008/2009 season. The game on the 21st February 2008, produced a 2-1 home win for Videoton. Andre Alves and Attila Polonkai did the business that day.
